Term 2 - Monday 23rd April to Friday 29th June

Welcome back to another exciting Term at Tirau Primary School.  We also would like to extend 

a warm welcome to Mr Gareth Gilmour who will be joining the team at the beginning of this Term 

and taking over from Mr Nichol in Room 5.  Thank you Mr Nichol for helping us out during Term 1, 

it was certainly appreciated and the students loved having you here at school again. 

Mr Gilmour has joined us from Firth Primary and he is in his 6th Year of Teaching.

 

SPORTS DRAWS

Please note that we had added a Sports Draw section to the website to help parents with Friday Night Netball and Saturday Soccer.  We will still send home draws with players but parents can also check the draw on the website.

ANZAC DAY - Wednesday 25th April

On Tuesday 24th April the School ran it's own ANZAC Service for educational purposes and to help lift awareness around the history behind why we celbrate ANZAC Day on the 25th April.  Thank you to all the students who were fantastic during our service and the staff for their part they played in making it special.

 

 

 

PTA Meeting -  WEDNESDAY Evening 7.30pm (Staffroom - 2ND MAY)

Next Wednesday Evening at 7.30pm the PTA will be meeting to discuss this Term's projects which includes a pre-calving evening event.  We would love to have as many helpers and parents along as possible.
